How much does all of this cost?

Just $99.00 a month! And you can try the site for 30 days with no charge! The cost is billed quarterly and includes up to ten custom client sites. If you need more than that, they are just $50.00 each. (a flat one time fee - NOT per month!).

Why isn't Creative Merchandise free?

Creative Merchandise provides a premium, time saving service - and we charge for it. We believe in a direct and honest relationship with our customers. Because we charge for our service and have a stable business model, we don't need to make decisions later on that would compromise our integrity in order to generate new revenue streams. That means we're not under the thumb of any supplier or industry trade group and are free to operate swiftly and independently. Your interests - and your interests only - are our driving force.

Further, every detail of our product is meticulously designed and presented. We fix every bug we find, and we respond to every single support request. Our servers have incredible uptime, our support is always available, and we are here to work directly with you on any project that may arise. If these things don't matter to you, then Creative Merchandise is probably not going to be a good choice. After all, no software is really free, because your time isn't free.

Where will my website be hosted?

Included in the price is the hosting and maintenance of your very own domain name. Choose anything you want as long as it is available. We'll even offer a few suggestions during the enrollment process. This way you will have a free-standing web catalog that is totally independent of any other sites you may have set up. If you do already have a homepage and would like to continue directing your clients to that, linking to your new website is no problem. Just let us know if you need any help with that.

How long will the enrollment process take?

Five minutes. Tops.

How long until my website is ready to use?

You will be emailed a temporary link immediately after completing the enrollment process. This will allow you to customize your website (if you wish to) and take a look around. The version with your company logo, and any custom client sites you have requested, will be ready within 24 hours. Because your website will be hosted at an address of your choosing, it can take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours for all of the servers of the world to recognize it.

Do you accept money from suppliers for product placement?

Absolutely not. We don't accept money from suppliers for ANY reason. Your website is filled with unbiased products that we feel are the best in the industry. And if you don't want to have a certain product or supplier as part of your website, you can remove them with just the click of a button.

Who are the suppliers you use on the website?

We use only the top suppliers in the industry. For a complete list, please view our supplier page. For each supplier listed, the entire line of products is available to you as part of our core database. We'll even keep the products updated and make sure that discontinued products are removed and new products are added, so you don't have to!

Can I add products to my website that AREN'T in your database?

Yes you can. And with our "Add Product Wizard" it's easy.

How do we find out where a product on the website comes from?

You will be provided with a secure login which will grant you access to the administrative section of our site. Once logged in you can view products by their name, item number, category, or the supplier that they come from. All the information you need to place an order is provided in this system. Additionally, when orders are placed, you will receive an email confirmation containing everything you need to place the order.

Can I set my own profit margins?

Yes. The default on your website is the suppliers' catalog pricing. If you wish, you can change that to any profit margin you would like. You can set one profit margin for all of your stores, or change it for different clients.

What happens when a client places an order or requests a sample?

An email to you is generated that will give you all of the info you need. (supplier, item #, color, etc..). Your client receives a confirmation email as well. Their copy will not have information like supplier or item #. You then write up the request just as you normally would, in whatever system you are currently using.

Can my website accept credit cards?

Yes, we have several different methods available at this time. Once you're enrolled, a CreativeMerchandise representative will be available to discuss these options with you. The only cost involved is for the SSL certificate, which will allow you to process the transactions on your website safely and securely.

What if I already have a domain name I want to use?

No problem! We'll walk you through exactly how to change the settings so that you can use it. It's very simple!

What browsers and operating systems do you support?

CreativeMerchandise has been tested with Internet Explorer 6+, Netscape 7.2+, and Mozilla for the PC. Our site is also compatible with Netscape 7.2+, Safari, and Mozilla for the Mac. We do NOT support Mac IE 5.2 or AOL.

Can I put your website inside a frame?

No, CreativeMerchandise does not support frames at this time and placing our site inside a frame will cause your websites to error. If you or your client needs to integrate our site with theirs, please contact us for alternative options.

Where have you been all my life?!

We get asked this so much that we figured we should just address it up front.
The short answer: You probably never came across us because we don't advertise much.
The long answer: With the exception of a few incredibly talented sales reps, we've avoided doing any marketing campaigns. We appeal to top tier distributorships, and each one of our clients is completely unique. The last thing we would ever want to do is alienate our current or potential user base by sending out annoying email blasts or blanketing the industry with direct mailings. Instead, we've taken the "If you build it they will come approach". And here you are. We're in this for the long haul, and we prefer manageable, sustainable growth through positive word-of-mouth referrals.
